I'm originally from Andover, Massachusetts and moved to Taos six years ago. I have a BA in Literature from the University of Massachusetts and an MA in Literature from Middlebury College. I love to ski, hike, bake bread, travel, and of course, READ!
I believe in creating a safe and inclusive classroom community where my students feel free to learn, be challenged, and understand that it's okay to make mistakes. I teach a wide range of modern and canonical texts and I'm interested in expanding student perspectives and approaches to literature. Main focal points include personal identity work, cultural criticism, gender studies, inter-sectionalism, and social justice
